We’re looking forward to two exciting events this week at the Black Creek Village Library. Join us on Thursday, April 26, at 6 pm for Wisconsin gardener, author, and speaker, Megan Cain’s workshop on how our gardens can feed us all year long. Founder of the blog The Creative Vegetable Gardener, (https://www.creativevegetablegardener.com/) which was nominated by Better Homes and Gardens magazine as one of the top 10 gardening blogs in 2016, Megan is an expert in all things gardening. This is a free event and no pre-registration is required, so feel free to bring your friends!
On Friday, April 27, we are having our School’s Out Friday: Arbor Day Edition. From 2-4 pm, we will have lots of tree and nature-themed activities, including pressed leaf coasters, personalized tree discs, Bean in a Bag, and more. To make sure we have enough materials for everyone, please let us know if you plan to be here. You can do this by signing up in person at the library, calling us at (920) 984-3094, emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, sending us a message on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/blackcreekvillagelibrary/, or simply clicking “Going” on our Facebook event page, and then commenting with the names of the people attending.
Be sure to take a peek at all of the colorful artwork decorating our walls for the month of April! Brought to us by the Seymour Women’s Club Art Show, it showcases works of art from both Black Creek and Seymour Middle Schools.
Have a great week, everyone!
