Foreword: April 30, 2018

May starts tomorrow, which means new displays!  This month, we’ll be celebrating royal wedding month with all things British.  With all of us tired of being cooped up all winter, we also have a great selection of books for breaking cabin fever, and activities to do outside now that the weather is nice.

The table topic this month is: If you had a garden, what would you grow?  And, to celebrate National No Socks Day (which, in case you’re wondering, happens to be on May 8,) we are decorating socks for our hallway project.  All participants get a prize!

Also in May, speaker, author, blogger, and couponer, Dannelle Gay from Operation $40K (www.operation40k.com) will be joining us to share the creative ways she was able to cut costs and save over $40,000 in one year!  She will share tips and ideas to inspire others to take control of their financial lives, pay off debt, and save money.  Join us on Thursday, May 24, at 5:30 pm for this free event.  No preregistration necessary.

Don’t forget to join us on Friday after school for Legos!

Have a great week, everyone!
