Thanks for everyone who took time to work on our community puzzle.  The first one has been completed, and we have a new, rainforest-themed puzzle in progress.  Don’t forget, if you’re looking for even more fun things to do at the library, we have a large selection of board games for you and your family to play while you’re here.

Starting in 2019, our director, Eva will be providing e-reader help for any patrons who are interested in downloading library e-books and audiobooks to an e-reader, tablet, or phone.  Sign-up will be required.  Call (920) 984-3094 for more information or watch for sign-up forms at the circulation desk.

We will be taking a temporary break from Storytime, but we’ll let you know when it’s back!  Watch for updates over the next few weeks.  Also, just a reminder that when the schools are closed due to bad weather, we will also be closed.

Our next book club book is My Sister Rosa by Justine Larbalestier:

“Seventeen-year-old Aussie Che Taylor loves his younger sister, Rosa.  But he’s also certain that she’s a psychopath – clinically, threateningly, dangerously.  Recently, Rosa has been making trouble, hurting things.  Che is the only one who knows; he’s the only one his sister trusts.  Rosa is smart, talented, pretty, and very good at hiding what she is and the manipulation she is capable of.

“Their parents, whose business takes the family from place to place, brush off the warning signs as Rosa’s ‘acting out.’  Now that they have moved again – from Bangkok to New York City – their new hometown provides far too many opportunities for Rosa to play her increasingly complex and disturbing games.  Che’s always been Rosa’s rock, protecting her from the world.  Now, the world might need protection from her.” (From the publisher.)

The next meeting of the Black Creek Library Page Turners is Wednesday, January 30th at 1 pm.  If you’re unable to join us in person, you can still participate online in our Facebook discussion:  Copies of My Sister Rosa are available at the circulation desk for checkout.
