We hope that everyone had a nice Christmas. The library is closed Monday for the holiday, and will be open our regular time on Tuesday. As the year comes to a close, we want to let our patrons know how much we appreciate you all and hope everyone has a fantastic New Year!
For December, we asked the kids to decorate the hallway with Neckties for National Tie Month. They did a fantastic job! We cannot wait to see what skate designs they come up with for next month’s topic, International Skating Month! Everyone is encouraged to stop by and color an ice skate for our hallway.
On Wednesday, January 25th from 5:30PM to 6:30, we will be hosting Dirk Hildebrant, a historic farmer from Old World Wisconsin. He will be discussing the history and techniques of Farming in Wisconsin. This program is free and open to all interested patrons. No registration is required. We hope to see everyone there!
This week we will have our final Funday Friday. As we say goodbye to this program, we say a grand hello to our new Lego Club program! It will meet the first and third Thursdays of every month at 3:30PM to 5:30. We hope to see you there! If you have any Legos that you no longer need and would like to donate them to our Lego Club program, we would be thrilled to receive them.
Also starting in January is our Family Evening Story Time! It will be the second and fourth Thursdays of each month starting at 5:00PM. If you cannot make our Friday morning story time this is a great option for you. It will be geared for preschool aged children, but all children are welcome to attend for a book reading and a craft! We hope to see you there.
