Today we find ourselves in September. We can hardly believe that the summer is just about gone; school is back in session, and the days are getting shorter. Yet we are getting a lot of great activities ready for this upcoming fall season!
Remember, we are closed today for Labor Day, but will be open at our regular time tomorrow.
There is just a little over a week left to sign up for our FREE event on how to make Cornhusk dolls! On Thursday September 15 at 5:30PM we will be hosting a representative from the Oneida Nation Museum to learn about the background and artistry of cornhusk dolls. We will even be making our own! Seating is very limited, so registration is required. You can sign up in person, by phone at 920-984-3094, or by email at email@example.com. Don’t delay, sign up today for this very unique opportunity!
Our friends of the Library have announced their next “Booked for Dinner” event! On October 1st they will be having a fabulous dinner and discussing the novel “Unwind” by Neal Shusterman. For just a $20 donation to the Friends of the Black Creek Library you will be able to reserve your seat to this grand event. If you are interesting in attending you must RSVP at the Black Creek Village Library by September 24th. We do have copies of the book on hand for you to borrow. If you have any questions about the event or would like to see the dinner menu, stop by the library today!
There will be no Funday Friday this week as Krista will be out of the library in the afternoon, but we will be having Funday Friday each Friday starting on September 16 at 3:15 – 5:00.
