We are extremely excited about our apple tasting event on Friday, October 25th! We are partnering with the University of Wisconsin-Extension to learn about and taste the different apple varieties that abound this time of year. We will be starting at 1pm, as school is out that day!
This is a family-friendly program, but there is a limited amount of spots so reserve yours today! You can call the library at 920-984-309 or drop by to sign up.
There are only a few more days left for the Friends of the Library’s annual book sale, the final day is this Saturday so make sure you stop by! The proceeds for the sale go to the Friends, who help support the library’s programs and collections.
2020 is an election year and the “electioneering” is already starting! Please be wary of any voter registration forms or absentee ballot requests that come to your mailing address. While these documents look legitimate, they are often from special interest groups and not from village personnel. Not sure if you are registered to vote? Check myvote.wi.gov or ask library staff to look you up. This website also contains polling place locations, ballot data and other trustworthy voter information. There will be four separate elections next year, the first of which will be the spring primary on Tuesday, February 18th.
