  • Military records, immigration records and passenger lists
  • Citizenship & naturalization records
  • Directories, guides, references, biographies, and yearbooks
  • Government, land, and court records
  • Wills and probate records
  • More than a hundred million tombstone photos

100 million additional records are added on average every month, including exclusive content not available anywhere else.  MyHeritage Library Edition is available to InfoSoup library users from anywhere, using your library card.  To learn more, go here: https://records.myheritagelibraryedition.com/support

Just a reminder for those of you who painted heart boxes last week for the adult Valentine’s Day craft - don’t forget to stop in sometime tonight (Thursday, January 24th,) before 6 pm to finish up your project.

The next meeting of the Black Creek Library Page Turners is next Wednesday, January 30th at 1 pm.  If you’re unable to join us in person, you can still participate online in our Facebook discussion: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2168740469821856/?source_id=87182937411.  Copies of My Sister Rosa are available at the circulation desk for checkout.

Tax time is just around the corner.  We’re unsure how the government shutdown will affect the distribution of tax forms locally, but here are some ways you can still get them:

  • Printable versions are available online at: https://www.irs.gov/forms-instructions
  • The IRS Office (440 Security Blvd. Green Bay, WI  54313  920-662-5999)
  • Call 1-800-TAX-FORM (1-800-829-3676) to have forms and instructions mailed to you.

Just a reminder – if the schools are closed due to weather, we will also be closed.

Next Week at the Library:

  • Wed. Jan. 30 @ 1 pm:  Black Creek Library Page Turners Book Club – My Sister Rosa
  • Fri. Feb. 1 @ 3:30 pm: Flash Friday – Lego Fun!

Have a great week, everyone!
