Is one of your new year’s resolutions to get involved in a book club? You are in luck! We are reviving our book club for 2020! The first pick is The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth. You can read the book through the month of February, and we will be discussing either in person-on February 26th-or through our online Page Turners Facebook group. You can add your comments and thoughts anytime! We have plenty of copies for you to pick up at the library, just ask!
The table topic this month is WILD! We want to know what wild animal you would want to tame and keep as a pet. Get creative and get a prize for sharing! We will post your answers on the Table Topic window.
We certainly hope winter will be quick and calm this year, we deserve one! In case it is not; however, just a reminder that the library will be closed if Seymour Area School District closes or ends their day early due to inclement weather. If this happens, we will backdate all items to our last open day so that late fees are not incurred!
Having legal trouble? We can help! Attorney Robert D. Sweeney from Sweeney Law Offices S.C. specializes in just about everything, and has been able to help a lot of our patrons by providing free, confidential legal advice at the Black Creek Village Library on the second Monday of every month from 5 – 6:30 pm. Time slots have been filling up quickly, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as possible. To reserve a 30 minute time slot on January 13th, please sign up in person at the library, call us at (920) 984-3094, or email us at email@example.com.
