Summer is here at Black Creek Village Library! The Summer Reading Program theme is “Every Hero Has a Story.” Readers of all ages can come to the library to sign up for our reading program and win prizes…just for reading! What could be more fun? We have an awesome line-up of programs for everyone as well. Come to the library anytime to sign up and learn more about our programs!

On Tuesday, come to Literary Crafts for Teens and Adults from 6-8PM. You can take old books and magazines and “upcycle” them to make awesome crafts! Materials will be provided.

On Wednesday, join us bright and early at 9AM for Walkie Talkies, which is a brand new ladies’ walking group. This group is geared towards people wanting some mild exercise and lots of laughs. We will be doing some indoor activities and, on some days, will take it outside! Please feel free to join us. We are friendly and looking forward to a summer with lots of miles walked and bonds made.

Wednesday night is the teen hero movie party. We will be watching a superhero movie and lots of snacks will be provided!

Knitting meets on Thursday like usual at 6PM.

Friday has storytime at 10:30 for babies and toddlers and at 11 for preschoolers and up! Friday Funday, a time for activities for school-aged kids, starts at 1:00 PM and goes until 3. We’ll see you at the library!
