There are just a couple weeks left to vote for the Mystery Space Movie on Friday, June 7th at 3 pm.  Don’t forget to cast your vote the next time you’re here.  We also have a fun Design a T-Shirt program on Wednesday, June 5th.  All ages are welcome to join us from 1-2:30 pm, with a special teen/adult edition from 2:45–4 pm.  Sign up is required so we can make sure we have enough materials for everyone.  Sign up here at the library, by emailing us at bcl@blackcreeklibrary.org, or by calling us (920) 984-3094.

Our May book club pick is Huckleberry Hill by Jennifer Beckstrand.  Set in Huckleberry Hill, Wisconsin, this book is about two octogenarian Amish folks who try their hand at matchmaking.  It’s the first book in the Matchmakers of Huckleberry Hill series.  We will be discussing this book on Wednesday, May 29th, and there are several copies available at the circulation desk for check out.  Feel free to join us for the in-person discussion here at the library at 1 pm, some or all of the online discussion questions posted throughout the day, or both!  You decide!  Here is the link to the online discussion: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2168740469821856/?source_id=87182937411.  You can also access the discussion through the Black Creek Village Library’s Facebook page.

Having legal trouble?  We can help!  Attorney Robert D. Sweeney from Sweeney Law Offices S.C. specializes in just about everything, and has been able to help a lot of our patrons by providing free, confidential legal advice at the Black Creek Village Library on the second Monday of every month from 5 – 6:30 pm.  Time slots have been filling up quickly, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as possible.  To reserve a 30 minute time slot on June 10th, please sign up in person at the library, call us at (920) 984-3094, or email us at bcl@blackcreeklibrary.org

We will be closed Monday, May 20th, for a staff work day.  All items returned in the outside bins will be backdated to the last open date, so they will not be late.  To place items on hold or renew items, please visit www.infosoup.org
