Do you know a girl in 6th, 7th or 8th grade that is interested in exploring Information Technology?

The library is very excited to announce that we will be hosting a local chapter of the WIT4Girls club!
WIT4Girls is an awesome way for young females in Wisconsin to engage with and learn about technology skills and careers! WIT4Girls provides hands-on activities, the chance to engage with female role models in IT careers and connection with others who have similar interests.

The group will meet weekly for 10-12 Wednesdays at 4:30pm-5:30pm here at the library! We will start on Wednesday, October 9th.

Attending each session is not required, come to as many as you can! Please let the library know if your child is interested!

Congratulations to Barb S., who won the “picnic” basket last month! The Friends of the Library have a new “spooky” raffle basket out for Halloween! Tickets are $.25 each or 5 for a dollar, a winner will be drawn around the middle of the month.

Speaking of spooky, stop by and grab one (or more) of the scary movies we have here at the library. Browse the shelves, or take a look at the creepy movies display we have near the front desk-the perfect way to the get into the Halloween mood!

Don’t forget to join us TONIGHT for the Cheeseheads film screening and Q&A! “Tailgating” starts at 5:30pm and we will start the movie at 6pm!
