We were excited to host a “book tasting” for the Black Creek Elementary third grade classes recently. They had an opportunity to sample books from up to six different genres. After examining each book and reading the first few paragraphs, they rated the books based on their level of interest. It was a chance for them to look at books they might not usually read, and we applaud them for their willingness to consider reading something a little different! (For any adults looking to expand their reading horizons, we’re happy to help you find potential favorites in a genre or format that’s new to you, too!)
The next session of Crochet 101 is Monday, February 20, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. It’s not too late to join the fun! If you’ll be attending for the first time, please contact the library to register so we can have supplies ready for you!
Storytime continues on Thursdays at 10:15, and our Tuesday slate of after school programs continue at 3:30 each week. The Ozobots return for Wired on Tuesday, February 21, and we’ll make shrinky dink key chains during Crafter Party on February 28.
