Thank you to everyone who contributed canvases for our Mini-Art Show! Visitors to the library during National Library Week were enthusiastic with their praise for the artwork.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and our current teen display has fiction and non-fiction books on the topic. We’re providing a Mental Health 101 for Parents program in partnership with NAMI Fox Valley on Tuesday, June 13 at 6:30 PM. The program is geared for parents, but all are welcome to attend.
Did you hear about the InfoSoup Library Road Trip? Stop into the library to get started by picking up a book. As you visit InfoSoup libraries through July 15 and meet the participation criteria, you can collect one stamp per library. For each set of ten stamps, you receive and entry for a prize drawing.
We’re taking a break from youth programming this month as we prepare for school visits and summer programming. There are no after school programs or storytime this month.
The library will be closed on Monday, May 22 for staff training.
