Foreword – September 3, 2024

Another busy summer has come to a close, and we’d like to thank everyone who participated in summer activities at the library!

Storytime returns on Thursday, September 5 at 10:15 a.m. Children and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, songs, silliness, and more!

We know how busy the first week of school can be, so there are no (school-aged) youth programs this week. Youth are invited to join us for a Lego Challenge on Thursday, September 12 at 3:30 p.m. On Thursday, September 19 at 3:30 p.m., we’re hosting a Design Challenges involving bridge building.

The News Literacy class scheduled for September 14 has been postponed with plans to reschedule it.

We’re hosting a card making class on Wednesday, September 18, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. This session will feature thank you cards and “Thinking of You” cards, and additional options will be provided. Space is limited, and registration is required. Please contact the library to register.

With the end of summer, we return to our regular hours—Saturday hours (9 a.m.-noon) start on Saturday, September 7.
