Summer Reading at Black Creek Village Library: June 7 – August 2!
Adventure Awaits This Summer at the Black Creek Village Library! Join us from June 7 to August 2 for an exciting Summer Reading Program packed with weekly themed adventures like Desert, Tundra, Forest, Jungle, Ocean, and even Space!
Each week brings hands-on activities, special guests, and fun for all ages—from puppet shows and crafts to exploration days and artist visits. Don’t miss our Lake Park Jam Kickoff on Saturday, June 7 from 10AM to noon at Lake Park, featuring a DJ, dance party, and treats for the whole family!
Pick up a new Summer Reading Challenge Bingo Card every week from June 7 to July 28—every completed card earns a collectible button and an entry into a raffle of your choice! With special events for kids, teens, and adults—including book clubs, craft nights, trivia, and more—there’s something for everyone. Raffles close on August 2, and winners will be drawn on August 7. Come read, explore, and celebrate with us this summer!

- July 8 – JUNGLE ADVENTURE: Puppet Show & Craft, Community Room!
- July 15 – SPACE ADVENTURE: Constellations Creation, Community Room!
- July 22 – MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE: Special Guest, Painting Artist, Community Room!
- July 29 – OCEAN ADVENTURE: Ocean Afternoon Exploration, Community Room!
Thursdays: Explorer Time Storytime! 10:30am-11am, families welcome
Join Miss Alaina on Thursdays @ 10:30 am for a fun exploration storytime! This weekly program is geared to ages 3-6, but all ages are welcome. Let’s all adventure together as we grow in our literacy skills!

Summer Reading Weekly Challenges!
Stop in to the library and pick up a Summer Reading Challenge bingo card every week, June 7 – July 28!
Every completed card allows you to enter the Summer Reading Prize raffle of your choice and earns you a special collection button – earn all eight!
The last day for entering raffles will be August 2. Raffle winners will be drawn on August 7!
