Foreword – May 31, 2022

Warm weather is finally here and that means it’s almost time for our Summer Library Program!  From reading challenges to a table-top gaming event, there is something for everyone. Here are just a few of the programs happening this summer:

Reading challenges for all ages,

Game On!, a table-top gaming event with Gnome Games, weekly programs for youth on Tuesday afternoons, and Storytime on Thursday mornings.

Stop by the library to find out more about our programs and to sign up for our Summer Reading Challenge. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

We’re going fine free on June 1! What exactly does that mean? Starting on June 1, the Library will not charge a daily fine for items checked out at Black Creek and returned past their due date. If a library item is 28 days late, you will be billed the cost of the item. Once the billed item is returned in good condition, the bill will be removed. Our renewal policies will stay in place, and you are encouraged to renew items as you did before.

You may see fines on your card after June 1 for a number of reasons, and we’re happy to help. There’s a list of Frequently Asked Questions on the library website that is also available in the library.
