Foreword – June 13, 2022

It’s not too late to register for the Summer Library Challenge! There are programs for all ages. Youth (ages birth through teen) may choose a new book to keep when they sign up and may choose another new book upon completion of the challenge.

This year’s theme is Once A-Pond a Time. With the exception of June 28, we’re providing programs on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM at the library June 14-July 28. The program on June 14 (Go With the Flow) challenges participants to engage with the science of water filtration, and the June 21 program (Whatever Floats Your Boat) explores buoyancy and boat building.

Fallen Timbers Environmental Center is providing a pond exploration program at their facility on Thursday, June 30 at 9:00 AM in partnership with the library. Capacity is limited, and registration is required. Please contact the library to register.

Storytime continues on Thursday at 10:15 and will feature stories about pond animals and their environment. Please note there will not be storytime on June 30 due to the Fallen Timbers program.

We look forward to seeing you in the library this summer!
