Foreword – June 20, 2022

If you’ve stopped in the library recently, you may have noticed a poster attached to the main desk that has a grid of letters and colored square stickers stuck here and there. Every letter on this grid is coded to a specific color square. Each day you visit the library this summer, you may take a small sheet of stickers, and place them in the locations with the designated letter. (Instead of paint by number, it’s sticker by letter!) Over the course of the summer, library users of all ages will create a mystery image together!

Registration for the Summer Library Challenge continues, and in-person programs are underway. Youth are invited to join us on Tuesday, June 21 for the program “Whatever Floats Your Boat.”

Fallen Timbers Environmental Center is providing a pond exploration program at their facility on Thursday, June 30 at 9:00 AM in partnership with the library. Capacity is limited, and registration is required. Please contact the library to register.

Storytime continues on Thursday at 10:15 and will feature stories about pond animals and their environment. Please note there will not be storytime on June 30 due to the Fallen Timbers program.
