Foreword – August 1, 2022

Looking to beat the late summer break “I’m bored” blues? Youth and families are invited to attend a board game session on August 2, which will run 2:00-4:00 PM. Participants are welcome to drop in anytime during the session.

Speaking of the lateness of the summer break…the school year is rapidly approaching, and the library is a drop-off site for Community 2000’s Annual Back-to-School Drive. Community 2000 is collecting new school supplies to be distributed to area students in need.

The library is hosting an escape room—Breakout the Superheroes—on August 16 and August 17. This event is family friendly, but success is more likely when the group includes a few middle/high school students or adults. Hourly time slots are available starting at 1:00 PM with the final time slot starting at 6:00 PM each night. Space is limited, and registration is required. Please contact the library at 920-984-3094 or stop in to sign up.

The final summer PACE programs at the library are August 3 and August 10 at 10:00 AM.
