Foreword – December 26, 2022

As another year comes to an end, we’d like to thank everyone who has used the library in the last year! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve!

We have a winter activity pack for kids that may help them through the winter break doldrums.

The holidays are a good time to remind you that even when the library doors are closed, you can access materials 24/7 from anywhere with an internet connection. The Wisconsin Digital Library provides access to a state-wide collection of e-books, e-audiobooks, and digital magazines that are free with your library card! While you may have to place a hold on in-demand items, you have the option of searching only for titles currently available. Titles can be downloaded to your device using the Libby app. Links to the Wisconsin Digital Library can be found on the library homepage or the Infosoup homepage. You may access it directly at Not sure where to start? Please contact the library for assistance.

The library will be closed Friday, December 23 through December 26 and December 31-January 2 in observance of the holidays. No library materials checked out from Black Creek Village Library are due on the days the library is closed.

Participants at the library’s Wired program explored the concept of conductivity with Makey Makey, which can turn bananas, carrots, and more into musical instruments!
