Forward January 27, 2025

Books have a way of transporting us to new places. Our special event on Thursday, February 6 at 12:30 will take you on an adventure to the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia. Celebrated children’s author; Baptiste Paul will be reading his book “To Carnival.” The sights, sounds and taste of the island come to life in this tale of Melba and her journey to “Carnival,” where music thumps, steel pans clang together and people dance in feathery costumes. Melba experiences a series of unexpected delays. Does she make it “To Carnival?” Plan on joining us with your lunch in the Black Creek Community Room to find out.

The after-school program on Monday, January 27 from 4:00 to 5:00 is “Disco at the Library.” Do you have your dance moves ready? Join us for a very fun event.

Storytime on Friday January 31 at 10:15 will introduce you to Llamas. Did you know that Llamas come in a wide array of colors from white to black, with shades of grey, brown, and red in between. The Llama can be one solid color to various patterns and spots. Come and find out what color Llama we are going to read about.

Stop in and enjoy all the fun happening at the library.
