The library is hosting an open house on Thursday, April 13, 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM. We are inviting members of the community—and we’d love to see people who aren’t yet library users—to see what’s new at the library and learn more about our programs and services. We’ve freshened our look over the last year or so with furnishings that will allow for more flexibility as we make use of our library space. Activities include a scavenger hunt that answers a riddle, bookmarks to color, and the ever-present possibility of discovering the book or movie you didn’t know that you needed. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Black Creek Village Library.
Black Creek Village Library is hosting a mini-art show! Mini (3”x3”) canvases will be available for pickup starting March 27 while supplies last. The deadline to return the completed canvases is April 18. The art will be displayed April 24-29, which is National Library Week.
Storytime continues on Thursdays at 10:15, and our Tuesday slate of after school programs continue at 3:30 each week. Crafter Party on March 28 will feature perler beads.
