Foreword – May 22, 2023

Congratulations to Hatilyn V. and Parker V. for completing 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten! Way to go! We hope you enjoy the next 1,000 too.

Warm weather is finally here, and that means it’s almost time for the Summer Library Program! This year’s theme is All Together Now, and many of our programs highlight connection, community, and kindness. Registration for the Summer Library Challenge, begins Monday, June 5. All youth who register for the Summer Library Challenge may choose a book to keep. Weekly youth programs will be hosted on Tuesday afternoons (with two exceptions) starting June 13.

Weekly summer programs begin the week of June 12, but we’re kicking off the summer with an escape room—Breakout to Summer—on June 8-10. This event is family friendly, but success is more likely when the group includes a few middle/high school students or adults. Hourly time slots are available starting at noon on Thursday, June 8 with the final slot at 6:00 PM. Time slots start at 10: AM on Friday, June 9 with the final time slot starting at 6:00 PM. Saturday time slots start at 9:00 AM with the final time slot starting at 1:00 PM. Space is limited, and registration is required. Please contact the library at 920-984-3094 or stop in to sign up.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 22 for staff training. The library will be closed May 27 and May 29 (Memorial Day weekend.)
