Foreword – February 12, 2024

Want to get a jumpstart on spring planting but aren’t sure how? Don’t want to invest in heat mats and grow lights? Attend our upcoming Winter Sowing Workshop, presented by Outagamie County Master Gardeners on Wednesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. This hands-on workshop will show you how to start seeds now using supplies most households have on hand with an assist from Mother Nature. Participants will learn about winter sowing of native perennials and annual flowers and vegetables, then build mini greenhouses out of milk jugs and plant them with seeds. Space is limited and registration is required. You may register by calling the library at 920-984-3094.

Our youth technology program, Wired, is Thursday, February 15 at 3:30 PM. This month, youth will learn how to make different types of circuits with Snap Circuits. Will your circuit turn on a light bulb, spin the fan blade, or generate a sound? Attend the program and find out!

Storytime continues on Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. Young children and their caregivers are invited to come for stories, songs, silliness, and more!

Congratulations to Nolan M. for reading 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten!
