Want to get a jumpstart on spring planting but aren’t sure how? Don’t want to invest in heat mats and grow lights? Attend our upcoming Winter Sowing Workshop, presented by Outagamie County Master Gardeners on Wednesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. This hands-on workshop will show you how to start seeds now using supplies most households have on hand with an assist from Mother Nature. Participants will learn about winter sowing of native perennials and annual flowers and vegetables, then build mini greenhouses out of milk jugs and plant them with seeds.
