Fall programs are in full swing at the library!

Calling all adult (and older teen) aspiring painters! Come and breakout your paintbrushes and your artistic skills! Paint Night returns on October 11, 6:00 p.m.- 8 p.m. Participants will paint a landscape featuring birch trees at sunset. All supplies will be provided. Space is limited, and registration is required. The deadline to secure a spot is Friday, October 4, but we may be able to accommodate late registrants on a first-come, first served basis. Please contact the library at 920-984-3094 or stop in to sign up.

A special youth program is scheduled on Thursday, October 10 at a special time (4:00 p.m.)—Paint After School! Our Paint Night instructor, Ashley, will have a project for youth. The program will also run longer—the planned end time is 5:30, though we’ve built in painting time until 6:00 p.m. All supplies will be provided. Space is limited, and registration is required. The deadline to secure a spot is Friday, October 4, but we may be able to accommodate late registrants on a first-come, first served basis. Please contact the library at 920-984-3094 or stop in to sign up.

Are you interested in learning to crochet but aren’t sure where to start? Join us for Crochet Club, which will meet weekly on Mondays, 5:30-7:00 PM, September 23-December 16, excluding October 21. Yarn arts enthusiasts of all abilities and types (including knitters) are welcome, but we’ll only provide instruction for crochet. Registration is not required but is encouraged for beginners so we can have supplies to help get you started.

Storytime continues on Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. Children and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, songs, silliness, and more! This month’s programs focus on elements of growing up.

Youth after school programs continue. Youth are invited to join us for Create Your Own Comic on Thursday, September 26 at 3:30 p.m. On Thursday, October 3, The Dash robots return with some of their tech friends.

Don’t forget that September is Library Card Sign Up Month, and it’s not too late to get a vinyl die-cut sticker that will bring a splash of color to your water bottle or surface of choice! Anyone who gets a new library card can choose a colorful sticker celebrating libraries!
Current cardholders can receive a sticker by showing their card. (Yes, you may show us your library card that you’ve saved in the InfoSoup app.)
