Black Creek Village Library column

For publication 18 November 2024

The name dinosaur may mean “terrible lizard” but the dinosaur is a loved friend of the library. This will be the last time this month where Storytime will have dinosaur themed activities. Please join us on Thursday, November 21 at 10:15 to celebrate the dinosaur.

The after-school program on Thursday, November 21 at 3:30-4:30 is “Stained Glass Bookmarks.”  Stop in to create your very own bookmark. What colors will you include in your bookmark?

The Crochet Club will meet on Monday, November 18 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. This is a weekly meeting continuing through December 16. All yarn enthusiasts are welcome but specific instruction and help is limited to crocheting. New learners are encouraged to register to ensure supplies are available.

Let us finish Dinovember off with a few Dinosaur jokes.

What makes more noise than a dinosaur? (Two dinosaurs)

What is as big as a dinosaur but weighs nothing? (His shadow)
