With it being Thanksgiving Week, things will be a bit quieter at the library. No Storytime or After School programs this week. Making the library the perfect place to escape too if you need some down time.
The Crochet Club will meet on Monday, November 25 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. This is a weekly meeting continuing through December 16. All yarn enthusiasts are welcome but specific instruction and help is limited to crocheting. New learners are encouraged to register to ensure supplies are available.
As we look forward to December there will be three weeks of exciting Storytimes and After School programs. In addition, there will be two adult programs, both holiday themed. Currently scheduled for December 23 is our Christmas Movie Film Festival. Please check back for details on all programs.
Did you know that Thanksgiving is always celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November? The earliest date it can occur is on November 22, the latest is November 28, like this year.
History is a rich, interwoven never-ending book that we can all learn more about at the library.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
