Forward December 9, 2024

Whether you are familiar with penguins from books, nature shows or tap-dancing movies, penguins are a popular animal that many people know and love. The library is enjoying the world of penguins this week.

Stop in for Storytime on Thursday, December 12 at 10:15. Stories and activities are all about penguins.

The after-school program on Thursday, December 12 from 3:30-4:30 is “Penguin Palooza.” Activities will include rock painting, penguin board games and you will leave with a keepsake snow covered jar topped with an adorable penguin.

The Crochet Club will meet on Monday, December 9 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. This is a weekly meeting continuing through December 16. All yarn enthusiasts are welcome but specific instruction and help is limited to crocheting. New learners are encouraged to register to ensure supplies are available.

We are offering another adult program on Wednesday, December 11 from 5:00-6:30. This one is “Ornament Making.” Please call the library (920-984-3094) or stop in to register. Walk-ins are welcome. Tap into your creativity and have some fun.

A group of penguins in the water is called a raft, but on land a group is called a waddle. Come join our waddle this week at the library for stories, games, and activities.
