We’re happy to partner with the Community Family Resource Center (CFRC) to provide Parent and Child Enrichment (PACE) programs at the library again this summer. The final PACE program at the library is Tuesday, August 6 at 10:00 AM. The August 13 program will be at the Splash Pad at Lions Park in Seymour.
The library’s other in-person programs are done for the summer, but there are still ways to get in on the summer fun! Stop into the library to check out the latest drop-in activity, and don’t forget the local business scavenger hunt! Signs for the hunt will be posted through August 9, so there’s still a bit of time to complete it. Please return your answer sheet no later than August 15.The last day to turn in the Summer Library Challenge is Friday, August 23. Once youth have completed 30 of the 36 squares, they may bring in their form to claim their prize—a second book to keep! (Adults who complete their challenge are eligible for a different prize.)
Black Creek Village Library is serving as a drop-off site for Community 2000’s Annual Back-to-School Drive. Community 2000 is collecting new school supplies to be distributed to area students in need. New school supplies of all types are welcome and appreciated! We are collecting supplies through Friday, August 15.
Please remember library is closed on Saturdays through Labor Day weekend.
